Dr Mukesh Batra awarded ‘Indian of the Year 2014’ for his contribution to healthcare
Dr Mukesh Batra, a renowned homoeopath is conferred with the ‘Indian of the Year’ award for his tireless contributions to medicine and healthcare. Particularly his contribution to the homoeopathy stream of medicine is reckoned across the globe.
Dr Batra is also a Padma Shri recipient and has received an array of awards and honours for his impeccable work in medicine and healthcare. Dr. Batra, who is also the founder chairman of Dr Batra’s group of companies had advocated that young leaders should rise to take challenging tasks and build India’s healthcare future.
The ‘Indian of the year 2014’ award was presented last week in Mumbai . Accepting the award, Dr Mukesh Batra, said, “The award recognises the importance of a sound mind in an able body. Good health is wealth. Among various systems of medicine that enable good health, homoeopathy is one of the fastest growing, as more and more people are turning to safer and holistic treatment options. This award signifies the challenging yet fulfilling journey that I had, to popularise homoeopathy through our clinics in India and abroad.”
